Remind me to just... sit on my hands or something next time I'm not working on a costume during a pre-convention rush.

Anyway, this is the last costume I debuted, due to be brought out again, slightly revamped, for Waicon '07 in a month. I made this costume in a group with and , and they helped me a lot (a lot a lot!) with getting it finished. The skirt is my pride and joy -- it's also deeply evil -- because I don't think anyone has managed to get the completely impossible shape of it before. (There's three layers of skirt there, people! Including a hoopskirt!) It's still got a number of unfinished bits and pieces and areas I'd like to improve on, but I'm terribly proud of this costume in general. The hair is my own, with a very long ponytail extension clipped on the back. Hooray hairspray.

The shield I am holding in the leftmost photo belongs to Drayke, who was -- in case you can't guess -- cosplaying Link that day, and who is a terribly good sport. (None of my characters ever get weapons. Maybe one day I'll make a collage of me and weapons from other characters which I've stolen for photo-shoots. Maybe.)

Edit: Oh, and if anybody's wondering -- I've called her Aeris in the title bar rather than the Aerith used in the game because otherwise I'm one letter too short and the title has to be "Kingdom Hearts 2 Aerith cospla", which isn't cool.
